Gardens of Peace is a community cemetery in Cheshire, Connecticut, established to serve families across the central Connecticut region. Set on several acres of wooded, tranquil grounds, it has been thoughtfully designed as a place of stillness — for those who rest here, and for those who come to visit them.
“A place where memory is honored,
and family is held close.”
We serve families with care, dignity, and the kind of quiet attention that this moment asks for. Our grounds are open to visitors, and our team is here to answer questions, walk families through their options, and respond when the time comes.
Established in 2016, Gardens of Peace provides a final resting place for our community on quiet, wooded acreage in Cheshire. Phase One offers more than 1,200 plots; at completion, the cemetery will hold over 3,400.
The grounds are pristinely maintained by a dedicated landscaping crew. The cost of each plot includes perpetual care, so that the cemetery remains a calming place for families to visit — today and for generations to come.
The cemetery is organized into reserved sections with paved access throughout. Total area is approximately 3.23 acres; each grave plot is 3′-6″ × 9′-0″.
The regular price is $1,750 per plot, with perpetual care included. Families who reserve in advance receive a $250 discount, bringing the price to $1,500 per plot — locking in today's price for the days ahead.

Gardens of Peace was given to the community in memory of our mother, Salma Khatoon Farid — a woman whose life was defined by family, faith, and a quiet generosity toward everyone she met.
These grounds are her continuing gift: a place of peace for the families of central Connecticut, kept in her name and in the spirit of how she lived.
With gratitude to the Town of Cheshire and to all who help care for these grounds.
